From April 27 through May 1, 2011, 171 delegates and guests attended the 103rd National Convention of the Bahá'ís of the United States. The Convention was held in Foundation Hall below the Bahá'í Temple in Wilmette, IL.

On January 22nd Bahá'ís and their friends gathered for the 23rd Cluster Reflection Meeting to discuss the current status and future plans for "community building activities" in Linn and Benton Counties.

The Annual Race Unity Picnic was celebrated in Avery Park, Corvallis, OR on August 22, 2009. As always, the event was joyously diverse both in the beauty of humanity as well as the cultural expressions through music and dance.

Photos show the end of the summer community building activities with our new Bahá'ís in Woodburn. We gathered in Legion Park to finish learning about Childrens Classes (Book 3) while children finished the classes for ages 5-7 with older friends as well.

From August 15-20, junior youth and youth "animators" experienced a wonderful spiritual retreat that included study, community service, sports, singing, prayers and personal reflection.

Youth from the ages of 11 to 15, along with their young adult "animators" participated in an outdoor activity in Kings Valley that combined study, reflection, conversation, prayer and community service at a community garden in Philomath.

Over 40 Bahá'ís and their friends gathered in North Albany to launch the 13th cycle of growth of the Bahá'í Faith in Benton and Linn Counties. Story telling, team planning, prayer and singing characterized this wonderfully joyous event.

The Second Annual Gift of the Spirit Arts Festival successfully took place on May 31st in the Corvallis Public Library. Over 90 pieces of visual arts, many performing arts, poetry in Spanish from Chile and story telling all graced the activity which was seen by over 190 visitors.

Outdoors in a residential garden in Kings Valley, Bahá'ís and friends gathered to commemorate the last day of a 12 day festival commemorating the Proclamation of Bahá'u'lláh as the Promised One of All Ages in 1863 in a garden outside Baghdad, Persia.
